Momentya uses the details you submit to prepare, deliver, and support your personalized digital video order.
What we collect
We collect the contact details, uploaded child photo, child name, occasion, family greeting, and order information needed to prepare and deliver your personalized video.
Photo handling
Uploaded photos are used to prepare the requested Momentya order and are treated as private. We limit access to the people and systems needed to prepare, deliver, support, and protect the order, subject to our retention and legal obligations.
Site measurement and privacy choices
The consent banner appears on the homepage, and Cookie preferences are available from the footer on public pages. Necessary storage supports site security, cart, and checkout. Before a choice is saved, Momentya currently records limited first-party funnel measurement: a random tab-session identifier, page and funnel stage, theme selection, engagement timing, and controlled source, medium, and campaign values. The record is session-linked and is not necessarily anonymous. The server maps source and medium to fixed categories; it stores a campaign identifier only if that exact identifier is approved (the current approved list is empty), and maps other campaign values to “other.” Limited mode omits click IDs, ad IDs, form contents, photo details, and order IDs, and does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, or Meta tools. Rejecting optional categories stops this limited measurement. The current site also recognizes GPC and DNT=1 as technical opt-out signals and disables limited measurement; their legal effect varies by jurisdiction.
Analytics and advertising tools
Optional Analytics consent enables Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity. Optional Advertising consent enables the Meta Pixel and consent-controlled Meta Conversions API (CAPI). These are separate choices. Where Advertising consent is valid, selected funnel or verified-purchase events may be sent to Meta with event and payment value/currency information and limited technical identifiers. Momentya does not intentionally send child photos, child names, birthdays, family messages, personalization text, email, phone, claim data, or private order content to Meta. With Analytics consent, additional campaign/ad identifiers and fbclid may be recorded, and purchase events may be linked to first-party funnel/order records.
Preference duration and withdrawal
Saved browser preferences and the linked server-side Advertising consent are valid for up to 180 days, unless changed or withdrawn sooner. You can change or withdraw optional choices through Cookie preferences in the footer. After a withdrawal is received, it stops future eligible Meta measurement and clears applicable Meta browser cookies. A Meta transmission already accepted or in progress may not be retractable. Withdrawal does not reverse a payment or automatically erase order, security, accounting, or legal records.
Automated abuse prevention
Momentya uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to help prevent automated abuse on selected landing-page interactions. For information about how Turnstile processes data, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Advertising measurement
When Advertising consent is enabled, Momentya may send limited public funnel events and verified purchase measurement to Meta. We do not intentionally send child photos, child names, family messages, From Name fields, uploaded-image details, or private order content to Meta. Server-side purchase measurement uses a verified payment result, value, currency, and limited technical information such as a browser user agent when consented.
Transactional email
Momentya uses Resend to send essential transactional messages such as payment confirmation and completed-video delivery. These messages are about your order, not future marketing. Marketing emails are not part of this policy update.
Order, support, and record retention
We may retain order, account, support, fraud-prevention, legal-compliance, and payment-record information for as long as needed to support the transaction, meet legal obligations, and respond to service issues.
Funnel and consent record retention
Raw Funnel V1 event, session, and engagement records do not currently have an automated 90-day deletion job. Expired consent-session hashes do not currently have an automated 30-day cleanup job. These analytics and consent records may remain until manual review and deletion; a proposed monthly review procedure has not yet been put into operation.
Who should submit
Momentya expects a parent, guardian, or authorized adult to submit the child photo and order details. Please only upload materials you have permission to use.
